Geneviève Brunner was born in 1978 and attended primary and secondary school in Switzerland. She studied law at the University Zurich. During her studies, Ms. Brunner completed various internships at banks and a renowned law firm and stayed for half a year in Australia to obtain her Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English. Finalizing her studies in 2004, she obtained a master degree in civil law with the honours “cum laude”. Geneviève Brunner was then appointed as assistant lecturer at the University Zurich, Chair of Private Law, Banking and Business Law.

Early 2007, she moved to Singapore as compliance officer for a trust company. During this time she successfully completed the LL.M. programme (Corporate & Financial Services) at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Geneviève Brunner joined the Jeeves Group mid-September 2008 and is Director of Lexadmin Trust Services Pte. Ltd., Singapore.

In 2011, the University of St. Gallen awarded Geneviève Brunner the academic degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Law (Ph.D. HSG) for her thesis “The Death of the Bank’s Customer and the Legal Consequences from the Perspective of the Heirs and the Bank”.

Geneviève Brunner is a member of the Swiss Lawyers Association, a general committee member of the Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA) and serves on sub-committees of the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL). She speaks German, Croatian, English, French and Italian. Ms. Brunner is married and her hobbies are tennis, playing the piano, jogging and ballroom dancing.
